Can you please add support for capture cards to integrate external professional video sources to Teams?
I recently attempted to integrate a multi-camera broadcast quality video switching system into a Teams meeting using a Blackmagic design DeckLink video capture card. The card offered both HDSDI video and HDMI video inputs but as I subsequently found out from customer support, only USB webcam type devices are currently supported by Teams There are many such devices out there for capturing professional video sources into computer systems and it would be nice if Teams supported these devices instead of just USB devices like webcams. Having the ability to integrate a system like this into the meeting host system would be a huge benefit to the Teams system and would make it more useful to the broadcast and production community.

I am using Wiistar HD capture card that is visible in Windows as FHD camera. It is problematic to use it directly as web-camera because Teams performance is not enough to "eat" 1080p@30fps. Image freeze and cpu/gpu load growth immediately. Workaround is using OBS and downscale it 720p@30fps (profile, canvas, output) etc. It would be great if Teams may use 1080p signal from HD capture cards like Elgato, blackmagic and others.

Upvote this, Teams dropped support for our capture card (Mirabox) a couple of weeks ago during an update, it displays locally but all attendees can't see any video. I'm not sure why they would not support a device that's relatively new.
Raised case with MS (#23318350) and apparently it's just not supported causing us to jump through hoops to get it to work by putting OBS in the middle of it...
I've used DeckLink > OBS > Virtual Camera before, and it was rough. It worked but I'd never use it for something critical and/or unmonitored by a "producer." Having Teams be able to natively use DeckLink input would be amazing for some of our events. In the meantime we use a Blackmagic Web Presenter. Its only downside is that it only supports 720p USB video, but it works flawlessly with anything that reads a webcam.
I'm curious if anyone is using a configuration like DeckLink card > OBS or WireCast > Virtual Camera > Teams to work around this.

This used to work in Teams just fine, and then they disappeared. I have a Blackmagic Intensity USB and the Fujifilm webcamX options just disappeared one day under Camera.
