Sort Participants by mute status
Allow participants to be sorted by Mute status to quickly see whose audio might be causing problems in a meeting feed. Meetings with large numbers of participants can be very hard to see who's un-muted and causing an echo.
Our customers want this feature!! Hopefully, we'll see it in Teams soon!

This is a much needed and a critical feature. It can be implemented by having a separate section for participants who are in unmute status and can be navigated with the f6 key. This will enable us to know who is unmuted and then we can call them out to mute themselves. keyboard shortcut to mute all participants like alt + shift + m can also be considered which will really help
Please! My company will have teams meeting with over 50 people and for some reason people will join the meeting mid way and NOT mute their mic - and there will suddenly all this noise. and because the list of people is listed alphabetical it means scrolling for minutes of loud background noise looking for the one user who's chatting with their cat or whatever. its maddening. Sort by unmute or sort by who just joined so that I can mute these very rude users.

Yes this is a needed feature to be able to sort by those not muted.

YES !! - Absolutely agree : this is a MUST!! Large meetings are unmanageable as so many people still forget to mute when entering a meeting.
Thanks in advance for adding the "sorting participants by muted/unmuted" option.
Definitely agree w/ this need. Either make this an optional thing, or make it the default that all unmuted appear before all muted (and then sort by name as usual within each group).
There's a few other similar uservoices for this, too, but with fewer votes: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/42499264-sort-participants-by-muted-unmuted

Need to have options to sort by first name, surname, acceptance type, last spoken (bubble to the top) and also be able to search through the list to quickly find a specific person when your on a meeting with 30+ people
