Outlook Calendar Invitation TO Microsoft Team Channel
Allow to invite a Team Channel via Outlook and allow invitees to respond and save the meeting invitation to their Outlook calendar from the Team Channel. Currently:
Scenario 1: I scheduled a meeting through Microsoft Outlook. I invited a specific Microsoft Team Channel (email address). The invitation appears in the Team Channel. However, members of that Team Channel are unable to add it to their calendars. It does not allow them to respond (accept, tentative, decline).
Scenario 2: I scheduled a meeting through Microsoft Outlook. I invited only myself. I, then forwarded that meeting invitation as an ICS to a specific Microsoft Team Channel (email address). The invitation appears in the Team Channel. However, when members download and open the ICS they are unable to respond and save to their Outlook calendar.
That would be great!
would be great if this can be directly in Outlook, why is oulook not integrated. You can intergate TEAMS but not select the channel.
Would be verry useful if a Teams channel could be set in an outlook Teams meeting invite so that the meeting appears as discussion in Teams the same way it does when it is created via the Calendar Function in Teams. So that the channel members see that a meeting takes pleace and that they can attend if they wont.

This would be so useful, particularly in education settings, i.e. inviting students to a teams seminar without having to type every name into the atendee box!

Scenario 3: I receive a meeting invite from an external vendor and want to forward the invite to all the users of a channel.
