Play/Display notification when someone enters a meeting
When someone enters a meeting, it would be nice to either have a pop-up or sound notification that someone has joined the meeting. You should be able to toggle this on/off so that large meetings can go undisturbed if needed.

My vote button doesn't seem to work, but I absolutely vote for this notification!

Please add this feature to teams- not only for call-in attendees, but also for attendees using their computer audio! Please, please, please!

I agree. There is an existing idea already for this: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35570605-allow-teams-meeting-host-to-toggle-meeting-entry-e
It is set to "completed" and links to the official support page for MS Teams meeting options. There you can find the option "Get notified when callers join or leave" which sounds like exactly what we need. However, it only works for people who join via phone (dial-in). In our company that is an exotic case. We need that setting to work for anyone who joins or leaves.

Completely agree without a doubt! There should be an alert for all whenever any person joins in.

I agree with that suggestion, it's really necessary to have a beep to know that somebody enters the meeting

I also agree fully with this: it's so hard to know somebody joined the meeting, especially if you are not constantly staring at the members (and it's a feature almost all other video meeting features share, it seems like a big miss to me)

That'd be a great help. It's also pretty standard among most virtual meeting clients.
