Participant controls in meetings - block attendee video
Just another Skype for Business feature that hasn't been built in Teams yet - need the ability to block / disable all attendee video as part of standard participant controls (including make all participants attendees, mute all, mute lock etc.) This was done really well in Skype for Business, but for some reason we are starting from scratch with meeting participant controls in Teams.

Thank you for your feedback! The team is planning for this work. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
For the separate feature ask to disable attendee audio, we are pleased to announce this has been released. For more information, please see this UserVoice item https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/39784519.

Excellent idea! If an attendee has flashing lights in the background this can exacerbate health conditions such as epilepsy / migraines.
I would be useful if this facility was given to each attendee and not just the organiser. -

I’m really pleased this feature is planned, I work for a local authority and we’ve had Cllr’s unwilling to turn cameras off when told and issues with bad behaviour (holding up signs when others talk etc!). Looking forward to this features release.

Would like to see this work much like the recently released hard mute feature.

Sounds good. I'm hoping there's an option to not include these videos main display? I.e. not just rows of blank boxes?

How long before it shows up ?

there is a need just to turn off all cameras of participants - especially if the class are distracted by all the other videos. Also when I record a meeting I find it appears directly into the post/conversations for all to download without being able to moderate that recording before it is available.

If you are going to allow hundreds of people on video, there's always the possibility of some bad cams or inappropriate cams or someone who may be unaware of what they are doing and may be something the entire meeting does not need to see. Should be able to turn off video.

As a teacher I agree with most of the comments and suggestions. It is extremely frustrating teaching virtually, and then having to deal with inappropriate videos, comments, student distractions - all done by students. It is extremely unfair to those students who are there to learn. Thanks.

Kindly add feature that teacher or organizer has control to unmute participant in meeting. if allow attendee to unmute feature is disabled by teacher then currently even teacher can not unmute any particular student. so this should be updated.
Teacher should have control of mute and unmute of students or participants in meeting.

Teachers need to be able to turn off a camera when the student is distracting others or when there are inappropriate things happening on the student's side. This is to protect other students in the class meeting.

Please make this a feature as soon as possible. I don’t see the point in using Teams for e-learning with KG students until the teacher can control the cameras and microphones.

Just Add The Option To Tell The Name Of The Person Who Kicked/Muted Someone. And Also We Should be Able To Disable And Enable Mute Lock. We Should Also Be Able To Block Certain Videos And Not All Of The Videos Because Sometimes When I Need To See Notes Etc. I See Everyone And They Are Kind Of Inappropriate. Please Make This Possible As Soon As Possible.

There is now in meeting details the option to choose "Allow participants to unmute themselves." If you click no, it seems as though once you have muted a participant, you as the organizer do not even have the option to unmute the participant later to speak. This is not convenient. Allow organizers to have the ability to unmute the attendee later when he or she feels it's necessary.

I JUST WANT A FEATURE WHERE WE CAN SEE WHO KICKS OR MUTES SOMEONE IN THE MEETING! Thats the ONLY feature we NEED! How hard can it be to implement something so simple.?!!! So many of my online class got disrupted because some kept kicking someone out
