Ability to use BCC
Making a Booking via the Teams app now has CC enabled. Can BCC also be added? We plan a lot of group based therapy in our organisation but using CC would create issues with local privacy laws, sharing cliënt e-mailaddresses to all adressees.
Thank you for your feedback. The team is reviewing this ask, we will share an update as soon as one is available.

This is a must feature!
As a DPO I am very concerned that this issue is causing unintended data breaches. It needs to be fixed quickly.
is there already a solution to use BCC or hide email addresses?
Our organization uses Teams video calls for patient sessions. For group sessions, we cannot invite patients using the Teams app because they will see each other's email addresses. This is in violation of the privacy rules. Currently we need consent from all patients before making a group appointment in Teams, or many additional actions to share the video call link via regular email with bcc. Copying and sharing the link via regular e-mail is too complicated or time-consuming for many employees in our organization.
Our organization, which locally serves tens of thousands of patients, is currently having to use inefficient workarounds because of the lack of BCC available in Bookings. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

We are attempting to use virtual visits to facilitate video group clinics in the NHS. The Bcc function is essential to maintain the confidentiality required. This is the single biggest blocker for virtual visit use with a group of patients.

This will be great especially when you want to invite VIPs

@Alex (Teams Engineering, Microsoft Teams)
There are at least 5 similar votes so perhaps Microsoft can take note and include the feature in an imminent future release please? Links below.
Our organisation needs this feature as we hold virtual hearings and you can't have the defendant seeing witness email addresses for obvious reasons. It would be great if this can be delivered.

Please be aware that there are already at least 6 different entries with this proposition - if they were all grouped together, and/or if you voted for each other's suggestions, it would be a stronger proposal. The existing items are:
- Bcc invites (the most voted one so far)
- Option to Bcc e-mails when creating event invitations (this one)
- Ability to use Bcc
- Implementation of function to send a meeting schedule invitation by Bcc
- Make BCC the default for sending to attendees
- BCC messages

This option already exists in the browser version of Outlook / Teams, under the Replying Options - so, it shouldn't be that difficult to release it in the Desktop version. Please find in attachment, the version in Portuguese, in the browser version. "Ocultar participantes" means "Hide participants" - which is equivalent to Bcc.
