Professional Live Events Producer Usage
I have a number of small ideas around the practical use of the producer end of live events.
1 Offer more options with regards to split screens eg two face images at the same time. 50/50 split and smaller/larger would be good. don't just restrict to a presenter and a document.
2 Add in the ability to share from two devices at the same time and switch between them. At least one presenter and the producer. If you need a backup, one will bump the other off the shared screen. It also automatically goes live if you do this bump off (not a good ideas and very risky)
3 Captioning is a very nice feature but there is some confusion in how to turn it on in the player window (subtitle or caption?)
4 Sometimes it is useful to have a live event with two types of audience eg on Teams and the other on Streams. Can you offer a way to push a live event with captions to Streams? This would give the ability to broadcast 'a conversation' out to a stream.
5 A live time clock (with seconds) on screen would be helpful.
6 Is there a way for the producer to have more control over mic switching (not just mute all)
7 Is there a way to get back into the live event if the producer closes it accidentally? Or is it just finished for good?
That is all for now!

I invite you to vote on the suggestion post below to increase visibility for this request - it is currently the most popular suggestion on the multiple video feed feature.
Hello i have an office business standard account and i want to arrange a meeting that i want 10 people to be presenters and a link that can join everyone else as attendant aprox 100 people.
Is it possible with that licence or i have to buy another?
Thank you in advance

any update on this idea?
meanwhile, use OBS to share multiple cameras/screens in teams live events. enable NDI in Teams Admin Center, use obs-ndi to get each teams live event webcam and content separately then display the contest as you want then start the virtual camera in OBS > switch camera in a Live event, this will display the OBS output > send Live and start the session :) awesome...
Any Update/planned progress? A must have!
#7 -- Always have backup producers at your events. These Teams Live Events are not meant for a single producer to run by themselves. At my organization, we have backup producers assigned and in the meeting (at the very least, they run chat support).
This way, the event does not end in the event you get kicked out or your computer crashes, and they can pick up where you left off on the run of show.
these features would easy a life a lot
Consent to all of them, especially #1.

Cosign all of these, but #6 especially is key for my events. Producer and presenters should be able to talk to each other aloud backstage without it being broadcast to the live audience unless/until the producer clicks to share a presenter's microphone. As it is, we're going to have to set up a separate conference call for presenters so they can coordinate during the event while their mics are muted.

Multiple presenters would be great.
Also, the option for organizer to voice talk without the attendees seeing them.

Agree. Multiple people on screen please
given the desperate need for multiple presenter cameras perhaps this should be in a separate suggestion to get more votes.
Additional Streaming Layouts for Team Live Events

Microsoft is loosing market share to BlueJeans and Zoom. We need to present more than one 'head' at a time. up to four. You can't have a 'conversation' and be constantly switching.

This thread is everything. I bet if Microsoft built a small team to implement these features, customers would be willing to pay an additional licensing fee for these capabilities. Some additional production value to give your organization the ability to better engage their staff is invaluable. Being able to attract more staff to your events because they are enjoyable remotely is huge in keeping teams together while apart. If your build it, we will come.
I have exactly the same concerns, thanks for the sum up!

8. As a presenter or producer - Share a video and let the producer stream it with audio.
9. As a presenter or producer - Share one or more applications at the same time. Let the producer decide what to stream.
10. As a presenter or producer - Share a PowerPoint presentation in presenter mode (as in a Teams meeting) and let the producer or presenter control the presentation.

I have Teams, however I just realized that I have a webinar next week and I will have to purchase another application to host the webinar.
Could not have written it better :-)
Hope this gets on top of the pile.

Agree - Multiple presenters at once would be great! This would especially be useful for webinar panelists and Q&A (with moderators and presenters).
Agree - multiple people on a screen is vital for running online events
