Disable Activity Notifications, and still receive Chat Notifications in Taskbar (bottom of screen)
Would love to see the ability to turn off Activity notifications (red number badge) on Taskbar Teams tile at bottom of screen. The constant interruptions from Activity notifications are very distracting. I've tried to mute as many channels as possible, but it would just be better if I could turn off ALL Activity notifications on the taskbar tile so that I can review them only when I want to instead of being interrupted. I want to know immediately if someone messages me via chat notifications. I'd like the luxury to review Activity notifications maybe once per day (or even less often). I've tried removing the Activity tile from Teams altogether and that did not fix this issue.

However, I think messages marked as URGENT should NOT be disabled or muted.
Please, please, please add this functionality. Activity feed notifications delivering the same taskbar notification as a chat are distracting and indicative of poor design.
Totally agree. annoying it is

I *hate* this about Teams. I don't need a red alert, number count every time someone likes something I say.

This is by far the most annoying "feature" of Teams. I like using Teams to chat, but whenever someone gives me a thumbs up I have to go to the Activity screen which I literally NEVER use. I tried getting rid of the Activity tab (which the tool allows me to do) but the silly notification messages still show up !?!
Dear Microsoft team, this is failing the embarrassment test!

I actually want to be able to disabel ALL NOTIFICATIONS, specially chat ones. It is nervewrecking to see 10 unread messages when I am in a long meeting.

Also, you have to wait a few seconds when opening the Activity tab before the notification badge icon disappears. Why am I forced to stay on a tab this way?
