Schedule Teams meeting from Google G-Suite mail and calendar
My company uses G-Suite. I want to show them the power of Teams for calls and meetings as a first step to moving to Office 365. But we need to be able to schedule a Teams meeting from a Google Calendar invite in order to start using Teams. Google Calendar has several existing integrations to other meeting platforms like Zoom, WebEx, etc. I would love to see a Teams integration similar to the WebEx integration on Google's marketplace -
"The Cisco Webex integration for G Suite lets users schedule Webex meetings and Webex Personal Room meetings directly from Google Calendar or Gmail, in any browser. The calendar invite shows the Webex meeting details, including a link to join the meeting. "

that would save us time to be able to synchronize Teams meeting planning and Google calendar
How To Schedule Teams Meeting in Google Calendar
It appears that there is now an add-on for this in the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Schedule Microsoft Teams meetings directly from Google Workspace

As it happens, our Google calendar could be used by hackers to import potentially dangerous malware into our systems. All you need to do is implement security and learn how to migrate G Suite data at https://spinbackup.com/blog/how-to-migrate-g-suite-data/. I hope it helps you with your security issues.
need G mail access to the Teams meeting on Mac OS
When will this integration be available? Teams is limiting its user base by not opening up integration with G-Suite.
I'd love to use Teams, but we'll be using Zoom for now due to the easy integration with Google Calendar. If and when Microsoft open up integration with Google Calendar, we'll jump onto Teams.
This is one the things I do not understand are not already implemented... It should be possible to schedule a Teams meeting to a google calendar, directly from within teams. Not all Team users want to be tied up to Outlook and Google Calendar is so much nicer (years ahead I would say) in terms of usability and mobile phone integration then the dreadfull outlook calendars.
And vice-versa, it should be possible to schedule a Teams meeting directly from google calendar, as it already happens with Zoom.
This is something that we too truly miss.
The lack of a Teams G suite app really limits adaptation of Teams in our organization.

I had a TEAMS meeting tab and been using it for the past 4 months very well with GMail, I just click on the tab, then click on schedule meeting and it came up with two options, using Google or another option I cannot rmember, but not importnant as never used. Howver last week the Meetings tab disappeared and I have not done anything to any settings. Any ideas?
Zoom, Cisco Webex and many more have G-Suite integrations. Why not MS Teams?
My business partner wants to switch over to Microsoft teams from zoom, but I refuse to until this issue is addressed. My company schedules so many meetings from our Gsuite calendar and the fact that I can just drop down and click zoom is huge. Will only switch when this is a viable option

Teams scheduling is so atrocious.
I rarely get angry.
But I allowed myself to get angry as I was trying to schedule a Teams meeting today.
I was not successful. Because there is no intuitive-ness and it just does not work.
Zoom added it w/o issues, and so did dozens of other providers. Setting up a meeting via GSuit is a simple as clicking a dropdown - by contrast, setting up a Teams meeting is like getting your foot sawed off.
Exchange/Outlook are the ONLY options to schedule a meeting and share a link. Environments with mailboxes on Exchange and G Suite (like higher education) limits the usability Teams as G Suite mailbox users have no way to create a meeting link and share it via a meeting invite. Alternatively providing method within teams to create a meeting link would also work.

This would be HUGE for K12 education. In our District we are heavy G-Suite and Microsoft users. Our Email and Calendar live in Google (and we have no plans to move away from Google).
The Teams app is so much better than Google Meet, but we can't take full advantage of teams because we don't have the ability to schedule meetings.
