Declined meetings - option to NOT receive the Meeting Chat in your Feed
Attendees who decline a meeting invite, still see the Meeting Chat pop up in their Feed and it is annoying for them to have to 'manually' remove themselves from the meeting chat (by using the leave function) as the meeting is happening. If someone declines a meeting invite, they should not then also get the chat messages showing up in their feed. There are other ways they can catch up with what is happening in the meeting. OR there should be an option for them in settings or elsewhere to disable the receipt of chat when they have declined a meeting

THIS NEEDS MORE VOTES!!!! It should be an option when we decline meetings. Decline with comments, decline without comments/feed. I started to suggest and found this one already. The never ending feed from meetings I declined 3 weeks is very distracting and disrupting.

Agree with Louise sometimes it's useful to have the meeting in your feed to review the conversation later.
Have you tried muting the unwanted conversation, stopping the notifications but allows you to review the chat later? This can be done on any chat using the 'More options' icon (3 dots) -

I often want the meeting to appear in my chat. I decline a meeting for various reasons and it's not always because it's something I don't ever want to see or view the recording for. I decline meetings due to conflict or because I'll be out of the office. I want that to show up so I can watch it at a later time when I have time.
