Create snap package for Linux
Many Microsoft products are already available in the snap store: VSCode, Powershell, Azure CLI etc. Any chance Microsoft Teams joins this list?
Alternatives such as Slack, Discord and Mattermost are already available from the snap store. This gives them great visibility, makes the installation experience super easy, enables auto-updates, and ensures the best compatibility across all distributions supporting snaps.
I don't like installing a .deb package from the internet because I don't know what it will do to my system, how well it will work, and whether other applications will break because of it. With snaps, I can control what access the application has and I'm confident that if the application has a bug, the only impact will be on the application itself, and not the stability of my entire system.
I would love to see this!
Adding as a Snap package would be the best way to allow multi platform support.
I Vote for this.
