Enabled Live Events for Germany
Germany has much more strict privacy requirements, which currently means that Live Events are not available. Please make it possible to use Live Events in Germany – unite privacy and collaboration.

This should also be a no-brainer. Germany doesn't really have a stricter Data protection law than any other EU state under the GDPR

We wood like to use the Live Events as well and as soon as it is available in Germany.

Schools in Germany are looking forward to use live events in the near future.
Until then, tools from Google and Zoom will have to be used.Florian

If GoToWebinar can do this for years in germany, also as Zoom Webinars can do it, you should also be able to do this. My Company wants to end the work with GoToWebinar and switch to Teams Liveevents as fast as possible.

I expected the GDPR to be an EU-wide regulation. Didn't the GDPR standardize the regulations in the EU?

We are a NPO in Germany and we thank you for your sponsored Licenses to support our work to do online Events. Sad is that we can't do this, because of our location. We can't understand, why such a great tool is deactivated, because of poussible video recordings. Your normal meeting tools in Teams or Skype fB can do the same...

I work in Germany for a company that has worldwide subsidiaries and we use live events already in Germany, however the tenant we use is in the Americas, I think that is the reason why we have this feature already. I am also running my own company aside and have a Microsoft Business plan, where the tenant is hosted in EMEA and live events are not possible. So I beg and ask Microsoft to work on protecting TEAMS and it's features in regards to privacy. Please make TEAMS in general and especially live events GDPR compliant so that we can use it here in Germany and the entire European Community.
