Waiting Room feature
Covid19 forces online meetings. For greater confidentiality I suggest implementing Teams giving the meeting organizer the possibility to enable the waiting room, as is already possible in Zoom
I cannot move/coach some of my users from Zoom to Teams without this feature. They need to be able to park participants and invite them into meetings at the right time, put them into a waiting room when confidentiality is required, and then bring the participant back into the meeting.

Waiting room is implemented in Teams. But I also would like to have a possibility to show "Disclaimer" when someone is waiting to be let in the meeting.
It would be nice if the organizer can see the order in which attendees entered the waiting room
How can I have a slide or picture asking my students to wait in the waiting room until I let them in?

It would make Teams so much more useful to educators to be able to have students wait in a waiting room while holding virtual office hours.
They have this your MS admin can set it on or you can do it in meeting settings after the meeting is created. What they really need is password protection on the meetings
I totally agree that waiting room function will be super useful to hold a remote live lectures or run a virtual office hours via Teams. Even better Microsoft should consider to add break room like Zoom as well.

I absolutely agree, interestingly it is a feature available in Skype for Business - should be not that hard to add to Teams.
The ability to force everyone but the Meeting Organizer to wait in a waiting room (and be able to be sent back to the waiting room) would be very useful, especially if there was an indication of join-order somewhere:
* Faculty holding office hours could use one meeting invitation and call students in one at a time (or in small groups) to discuss assignments (would be helpful to be able to multi-select 1+ individuals and then admit them simultaneously; would also be helpful to have the reverse to put them back in the waiting room)
* Presenters could test their setup in the actual meeting before allowing anyone in (especially useful if there's an "admit everyone" option)
* Could be useful for interviews (if the people in the waiting room can't see the participant list)
Ideally, participants would only be able to see the portion of chat that occurred while they were in the room; and there would be some way to message the people in the waiting room
I agree. It would be great to have virtual waiting room, similar to skype, but with no time limit. This allows for multiple guests coming in and out of meetings. The ability to kick someone out of a meeting would be great too.
For a professional System also the WAITING ROOM DURING A MEETING Feature is very important
"Waiting Rooms during a meeting
You also can use the Waiting Room feature during a meeting, which allows the host to put participants into a Waiting Room on the fly. This is a great feature because you can control when people join your meeting. For instance, the host can send specific attendees back into the Waiting Room if they are signed-in internal participants that were not put in the Waiting Room initially or if the host accidentally admitted someone and needs to send them back out."
