Read receipts for all team members in conversations who have read a message - currently only in chat - need to see who has seen posts
Read receipts seem to only work in one-on-one chat, not in group posts amongst team channels. I need to see who has read each message (i.e. who has seen posts and replies).

I was reading some of the comments posted by others in this thread, and it sounds to me like they have brought out some valid reasons to make this option available. As Rich said, I think that it would help to make the team facilitators' jobs much easier and they would be able to use their personal resources more effectively. 👍

I post updates regarding discussions with leadership and policy changes that must be shared with teammates. If I could easily see a list of individuals that have seen the post, no additional follow-up is needed. Every post doesn't warrant an emoji reaction or a comment/question to be posed. The ability to see that it was acknowledged would be helpful.

Yes, similar to a feature that already exists in Yammer. (Or facebook.)

Some team members would find it helpful to see who has read their posts.
I don't even need to see who exactly read the message, thought that would be helpful. If i have a channel with 12 members, then I just need to confirm how many members have read the alert messages and posts. If the read count is low, i may then consider sending an email to the group instead if the read count is below expectations.
