integrate MS outlook contacts and MS teams contacts
MS outlook contacts and MS teams contacts should be same database with access of information like email, phone from both tools

I Would also appreciate it if MS is syncing/working on this.
For example if you use Outlook Contacts they work in Teams only if they are stored in your Outlook default contacts folder and have a correct number starting with country code etc.
They should integrate all Outlook Contact folders and also sync it if you create a contact within MS-Teams that it appears in Outlook too

This is necessary
..the call log is a joke, contacts in the call log are a joke.. come on M$
10 years ago, Lync 2010 was far better in doing what Teams should have had right out of the box.. why do we need user voice for basic functions like this, it has to be there by design.
its 2020 and you're still making rookie mistakes.honestly Teams looks like it was made by a teenage school boy in their lunch time, LOL, so badly written code...
And more, Contacts of Exchange Online. It can't find the contacts on Teams. On outlook, can't use display name. On Teams use display name. please integrate. I want.
Exchange Onlineの連絡先も連携せずTeamsの連絡先に表示されない。Exchange Onlineの連絡先は、outlookの連絡先ではディスプレイネームが使えないが、Teamsの連絡先はディスプレイネームが優先されるし。

It would also be nice to include contact which can be created from admin center.
Bump on this. This is literally the one flaw in Teams that is preventing us from migrating the entire company from Slack to Teams. We need to be able to see the status of everyone in the company at a glance.
please you must do this
its insane its not done already

Have expected this to be there. Just can't believe it is absent. Will help people a lot to adopt Teams.
This is a basic productivity request. One can right click on a contact in Outlook and say dial but one cannot find a Outlook contact from within Teams/Calling/Contacts. Some of our users claim that they can see their Outlook contacts and clearly Teams is already connecting to Outlook given the Teams Calendar is up to date. Would also be powerful if one could transfer a Teams call from their PC to their mobile mid-call.
Skype for Business was fully integrated - surely the code is available to include in Teams without too much extra work?

I've had a customer ask about this and they do appear to have it working - if they create a Contact in Outlook it will come through to Teams! But it's not consistent.
It would be great if we could have some form of integration from Teams back in; I am not sure if we need it to be same database but having the ability from Teams back in would be good.
Until then, for others you can from Outlook you can initiate call out via contacts which will go out via Teams Call
