Return to the slide where you left in PowerPoint
When presenting a PowerPoint and then share something else like an application, for example doing a demo and switch back to the PowerPoint, to have visible the slide where you left before doing the demo. Currently, it returns to the first slide of the presentation.
Live Meeting and Skype could do this
Sharing a powerpoint via screenshare is not a good workaround as the audience lose the ability to click links and navigate the presentation and the presenter loses notes/presenter view (without dual monitor)
Yes please! I teach programming languages and it's really annoying to go back to presentation mode and go back to the slide. In fact I don't even do it anymore, I just share my screen and maximize the powerpoint. However, this is suboptimal for other reasons such as students seeing everything you do all the time.

Or via keyboard by pressing the 'g' key, entering the slide number and pressing enter, like in desktop Power Point

Yes, this is so needed. Also, the PowerPoint files offered up by Teams aren't the ones I want so I have to browse and navigate to them. If there was a pause and restart option this could all be avoided.
when teaching the ability to stop a presentation for discussion and return to the same slide is important, otherwise it becomes a lecture rather than a discussion. We need the interaction we would normally have in class to make this a strong platform for teaching.

Or ability to jump to specific slide rather than moving sequentially from the beginning
