See participants while sharing screen
Currently, participants can see others while the screen is shared. But the presenter cannot. I would like it to be able to see participants while sharing my screen.

Ah... when? This should've been the first thing to do when you design this, followed by breakout rooms.

Hi. How can a student view the teacher while she is sharing her screen on an iPad?

Is there any update on this issue - does anyone know? I echo all the comments below. It is disabling not to be able to view workshop attendees
while sharing a PPT with them. -

Even S4B can do this, so why not Teams?

I am finding the same problem. Zoom is so easy but Teams is rediculous. Our team needs to be able to see our clients while going through reports.
I have just paid a small fortune to join my team up to Teams. I hope there is a very quick fix on this one.

Admin, can you merge these threads? Perhaps there are more... https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/37950907-ability-to-see-the-participant-list-while-sharing

Couldn't agree with this request more. The 2 screen work around is awkward in that if you are sharing your primary monitor where the camera is, then whenever you look over to see participants it appears as if you are looking away, and if you are sharing your secondary monitor (where the camera is not), then you appear to be looking away when looking at your shared material. This is not an issue in webex or zoom ... pretty large gap there which needs to be filled. Thank you.

Agree with all comments here - when I am presenting I need to be able to see participants so that I can keep an eye out to ensure I haven't lost people. Likewise I need to see if someone wants to raise a question. This is so very easy in Zoom!

I'm now doing a (fairly complicated) safety training online, and am horrified that I can only see one participant at a time! this is the sort of training that makes some people glaze over a bit, and it makes a huge difference to be able to spot that and re-phrase the explanation. or it WOULD make a difference ... if it were possible to see people. Why can't we see the same sample of participants as the audience does? that would be massively useful.

every meeting i'm finding myself surprised when someone (who was not there when i started to present) ask me a question. need to be solved ASAP!!! very basic feature.!
for now as a workaround i have to connect to the meeting with two devices - one to present and the other to see the participants list during the meeting. Incomprehensible!
