See participants while sharing screen
Currently, participants can see others while the screen is shared. But the presenter cannot. I would like it to be able to see participants while sharing my screen.
Thank you for your feedback. The team has this request under review, we will share an update as soon as one is available.
Desperately need this!!!!!

This feature is absolutely crucial for professional digital working. You would expect this to be a basic function. If MS Teams can't provide, alternatives need to be found.
I agree with everything said here, more so as Zoom offered this from the very start...!
As a presenter/organiser of a meeting, it is paramount to be able to gauge your audience, be it adults or children; Whether a business, a school, even a private get-together... if you can't see your audience, how can you possibly gauge engagement? Being online is already a significant step away from being able to read the room. Anything to bridge this gap can only be good; a very much needed function, Teams Engineers.

This is a significant shortcoming in Teams. Zoom handles this effortlessly. Should also be able to see who has their hand up and the chats.
It is essential for Primary school teachers who are also managing questions and student engagement
impossible to use MS teams in present mode. Zoom is much better! Not all users have multiple screens. MS needs to improve this feature asap!!!

This is an essential requirement. With companies adapting to virtual meetings at a rapid pace. It's a serious constraint that the presenter him self can't see participants and their reactions.
Hope Microsoft fixes this soonest.

This important feature is still missing despite more than 4000 voices in this forum.
Teams is lagging behind the other video conferencing tools!

My number 1 frustration with Teams. The function is mandatory and standard in other video conferencing tools.
This is a huge request from my users. Need this rolled out asap, users are looking at other options.
This feature would be really helpful. Hope to get it as soon as possible.
I use 2 screens: screen one for the meeting and screen two for what I want to share. This works well and I can see my class all the time but why does the meeting have to shrink down to a tiny window every time I start sharing? How do I keep it full screen without having to click back onto it every time? Thanks

Agree, please consider adding the ability to see the participants and yourself while presenting a screen. The ideal scenario would be how the screen behaves when in Zoom you are the recipient of screen sharing and you have a small gallery/grid next to it, with the ability to resize either the shared screen or the gallery (not like how Zoom does it when you share your screen, then the gallery is a popup which is slightly annoying to move around as it covers the screen that you share.) Thanks!
Please enable this feature
I want to bump up this request!!! :) Please add this feature ASAP
When you start presenting, the participant grid collapses a little window that hides behind the shared content. Move the shared content out of the way, if necessary, to see the little window. Double click the little window and it will restore to a floating, resizable window that shows participant video.

Over 4000 votes and this crucial piece of Teams Meeting functionality is still not available. Why?
Last update nearly a month ago from Alex Teams Engineering.
We have had lots of new features in Teams in last month and yet this most important one for all teachers, trainers and presenters who want to share more than just PowerPoint and still see there audience is still not here.
Surely if you can do PowerPoint why cannot you do Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote and other apps in exactly the same way???????
Please can this be delivered asap.
PS seen other such items with less than 4k votes implemented

We moved to zoom because of this lacking feature and now found zoom to be far superior in many other ways.
This is an essential Feature to Have. why Doesn't Microsoft have it. the Instructors at my school are saying Microsoft teams is **** because it is missing this essential feature.
