See participants while sharing screen
Currently, participants can see others while the screen is shared. But the presenter cannot. I would like it to be able to see participants while sharing my screen.

Such an important feature while presenting, especially to large groups. You need to see how your audience is engaging with the presentation!
I'm not surprised by finding out Microsoft cannot do things right. This is a must-have and even Zoom has it! As well as annotation tools and Remote Control... It is falling behind as usual.
Its very important feature, that need to be updated at the earliest. but best communication can only happen when you have the direct eye contact with all your members, while presenting the screen.
Like others have said, it is frustrating not to be able to see students while you are presenting. When in a Zoom call I can move the kids around the screen and see who I need to while I present. I do like using Teams, but I do not like the Meeting feature for this very reason. I really hope an update on this will come soon!

Dual screen workaround is awkward at best and limits you to working from a formal desk. This does not work in the new COVID accomodating home working situation. Also, I cannot really see how a teacher with one screen can realistically run a class without this basic requirement - I loathe to call it a feature as this shoudl be in the base release.
This is possible. But only works if you have 2 screens (or more):
Choose Desktop Sharing instead of Window Sharing
Double click the the mini Window to enlarge it > Move the Window to the other screen
Outcome will be:
1st screen; is for screen sharing
2nd screen; is for viewing Teams Participants
This is not a fix, but might be a work around.
Yes really need this feature, remote working with a new team I can't recognise voices as I have never met them in person. Not being able to see the whole team when sharing makes it harder to follow conversations.

It is a must if we use it for classes. Ne need to interact with students while presenting.

Adding this feature would be a significant improvement for me as well.
Especially because people tend to be late for Team meetings like they do for live ones...
Honestly for me this feature makes Teams almost worthless. I only use it when my company makes me.

Yes please! Totally agree. The presenter needs to be able to see participants and raised hands while sharing a screen.
Yes, need of an hour. Must have feature on any web meeting app. Awaiting quick response..
Webex has had this for 20 years! Come on Microsoft!
I really wish my company hadn't decided to use Microsoft Teams for this reason and many others. Im a UX designer and I believe Microsoft UX is terrible. One of the most important things about presenting designs while sharing a screen is to be able to read the body language of your subjects.
Do some usability testing Microsoft!
I will continue to be an advocate against Microsoft until this and other simple features are addressed.
I have the same request. You can only see one person and its the person that is talking while you are sharing your screen.
I would also like this feature, as a teacher when sharing my screen i would like to see pupil icons so that if they raise their hand I am aware they have done this.
If you click the small single video box while presenting it will open up a full window with all the available video videos (same as if you weren't presenting). Not ideal but is a work around for this
Yes, please can you add this feature to the application. As when i share my screen with my friends I am not able to see their faces. I have to go back to the application to view that. If you could add this feature please do it as soon as possible!
You can view it if you browse and access a file instead of an open file.
Yes. need this!!
