Disable camera autofocus
It would be great if the camera autofocus could be turned off in a video call (sometimes I want to show a paper or whiteboard I work on, and the frequent refocusing is very disturbing for the others in the meeting). On my tablet I can turn autofocus off when just making a video by tapping for 2-3 seconds on a point of the picture (in the built-in app, not Teams), but inside Teams the local menu which allows this option is not available, only Teams' own local menu.
Did someone know when we will have the posibility to disable the autofocus feature for webcams in Microsoft Teams? This is a request from several user for almost a year and we still had no answer!

Agreed - this needs to be fixed - if it helps anyone, I can turn off autofocus in Skype For Business each time i start my machine, and Teams seems to respect this until i shut down.
Worth a try, not sure if Skype will do this...
Oi, are you lot going to do anything? This question has been standing since March!
I have the same issues as 'anonymous' below. Teams does not respect system wide autofocus settings during calls... my Logitech C920 webcam has a common issue with autofocus that creates a rattling noise which everybody can hear, thereby making it unusable with teams at present!
Same here - Teams changes my webcam settings during a call and forces the autofocus (as well as the zoom level) - These settings are not reflected the view in preview mode and provide a degraded experience with my device (Logitech 920 Pro) during video conferences
This is an urgent problem to fix in teams

This would be one of the most urgent features in teams to be updated immediately.
I'ts really annoying anyone if you give a lecture.
Hello, I am currently facing the same issue were you able to fix it?
I'm also facing the auto focus issue while I share my screen.. Would you please suggest how we can turn off auto focus in video calls.
