Use annotation tools on a PPT in Teams Call
I miss the ability to use Annotation Tools together on a shared PPT in a Microsoft Teams call. Previously we were using Skype for Business and there this was possible. The Whiteboard is not sufficient for this purpose, since there are no text entry options for example.

Unbelievable that there are no annotation tools
Zoom is far superior to this cobbled together Microsoft product

You have to share desktop and then you can edit the PPT as you go along live on your desktop.

Agreed! My company uses Webex meetings and our internal staff meetings have been experimenting with teams. Not having the ability to annotate on a PPT slide makes getting feedback really klunky and difficult. It makes we want to stick with Webex!

I hope this gets more traction. My company uses Webex Meetings too. The ability to upload a slide into the platform and then allow annotation on the ppt is extremely helpful. Cuts down on screen share problems. It would be cool to see this feature in Teams.

This is a critical feature - and not just for powerpoint but any screen sharing.

YES!!! It would be very helpful to be able to annotate on the shared PPT in a Teams meeting. I used this feature all the time in Zoom with both text and stamp options like a check mark or an arrow. The drawing tool was useful too. Gives others more options for collaboration than talk or type in chat.

Yes. The annotation tools is missing which limits collaboration when discussing over a ppt slide and to have anonymous feedback through typing on the slides. Check out zoom meeting function or WebEx. It is sooo helpful and useful during facilitation. It enables dual way communication rather than just one way or side talks over chat.
