Multiple applications sharing
Please let us share multiple applications from MS Teams rather than sharing only one application or only the entire desktop.
Also, give functionality to switch to another application while you are sharing without stoping screen share and resharing another application

This actually a big issue with my workflow in meetings. Today, I can only share a single-window from a single application. It's very common to say, open a browser pop-up or new browser window in a meeeting. To share this, the only option is to stop sharing and then share either the new window OR my entire desktop.
Sharing my entire desktop is often not desired. Example:
Presenting an MS Office document (Excel for example) and a web-page side by side, with Outlook running in the background. Don't want to show my incoming mail notifications that my whole desktop would reveal as that could over share confidential information. -

The current feature is window sharing, not application sharing. It is disingeneous to call it application sharing. Many applications have multiple windows, and the current behavior shares only one window. If you close the shared window then the app is no longer shared (sharing does not hand off to a different window from the same app.)
Sharing multiple windows is absolutely needed. Both multiple windows from the same app, and multiple windows from multiple apps. Lack of this feature hinders usefulness of Teams for real-world meetings like those I encounter in my job.

Agreed. It is so frustrating to go to a whiteboard- close it- have to reload a PPT- go all the way through it to the correct slide- can you not just introduce an overlay system to switch between them?
Those of us shackled to this platform for teaching would be eternally grateful.... -

Yes! The other issue is that when you stop sharing your PPT presentation (let's say on slide 20) to share another application, when you start sharing the PPT presentation again, it brings you all the way back to the beginning! There is no way to jump to the slide that you left off on. Ugh.

This is needed. Webex had it. Please implement it.

Hi guys, I have few suggestions which you might like to add or fix:
1. When user wants to switch between multiple windows while sharing their screen, they should be able without disconnecting and initiating sharing again.
2. there should be Video, Voice call option even when user pops out the chat window.
3. we should be able to squeeze the calendar to see all day bookings without scrolling up and down.

Easily switch to another application would be great. Multiple applications is a different problem; for me, I typically need to switch to a new application that I opened after I had started presenting.

I have been webex user and this would be a good feature to have it in teams as well.

This feature is totally needed. I usually like to share my browser, word and excel, but not my outlook during a meeting.

It would be much more convenient if multiple app sharing would be enabled in MS Teams.
It is quite annoying to stop sharing every time when needed to share other apps and would not want to use full screen sharing. -

I come from WebEx after using it for several years and was expecting almost all nice features of that platform to be available already during this transition time to MS Teams.

Totally agree. It really sucks that you have to unshare and share again if you want to share another application but not the whole screen. Plus, at the moment you CANNOT share more than one application without sharing your whole screen. WebEx has it so why not MS Teams?

Th stopping of sharing then to have to start sharing a different application is a pain. It would be better is multiple applications could be selected, 1 application at a time only needs to be shared, when you select a different application and the focus turns to this, this should be shared.

Coming from Webex I am also really lacking these capabilities!
Thanks
