I would like a "break away" feature in the MS Team meetings
Many people are now required to work from home, given the current COVID-19 situation. Consequently, a lot of large team meetings, conferences and planning days have been cancelled or postponed. It would be useful if MS Teams could allow meetings with a large group of people to have a "break away" feature so that attendees are able to break up into smaller sub-groups (to discuss the questions, topics etc) then be able to rejoin the main group. I'm not sure if this already exists or has been suggested before? The organiser(s) could issue materials (handouts etc) electronically or there could be an alternative to the usual materials during conferences (e.g. butcher paper, whiteboard, smartboard etc). It might be useful to empower the organiser(s) to be able to randomly select groups of a particular size (or pre-select groups) (e.g. if you have 50 attendees and you need groups of 5, or if you need each group to have a person on the leadership team etc). Polls, sharing screens etc. would be useful as well.

Hi Jacinta (and others). Please go and add your vote here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/35000044-introduce-breakout-room-functionality as this is in the top 10 most requested features and is being worked on now. Thanks. Roy :-)
