Allow Channel Moderation for General Channel
Channel moderation feature was introduced in 2019 allowing owners to chose if they want Members to reply on a post or not.
This is a very useful feature and is missing for general channel. Could you please extend this feature for general Channel as well ?
This is absolutely crazy that you would just completely remove this feature rather than just make it an option?!
Thanks for the comms on this MS!
Please add moderation to the general channel!
I've created an org-Wide Team more than one year ago for company communication. Users could not create post or reply to post since the creation of this Team.
Actually they still can't post but they can reply to a post in the general channel and we don't that of course.
Please Add moderation to general channel.

Very important for us to prevent user reply on general channel
Definitely need to be bale to restrict who can post in this channel AND allow team members to be able to reply.
Moderation is needed in the general channel more than in any other channel !!!!

Please implement ASAP, as General channel available in each Team and members are playing too much with unnecessary items.

I like the ability to restrict new posts to owners only, but I need team members to be able to REPLY to my posts and announcements!
This is extremely necessary. I want feedback and engagement on the posts and announcements I am making.
This is URGENT!
I actually thought we had that before already..
I like that we can restrict posts in the General channel owners only. It’s useful for announcements and encouraging discussion in other appropriate channels.
However, as an owner posting an announcement, I want team members to be able to reply to the conversation thread.
Announcement posts might be asking a question, celebrating success, requiring a response, running a poll.
Please alter the feature and allow team members to reply to team owner posts made in the General channel.

It would be greatly helpful so we can talk about department/group wide issues but moderate who is actually posting.

This is pretty critical for EDU usage..
