Allow multiple video/camera feeds at same time in Live events
With everyone moving to remote these days, it's important for our executive team to provide the same sort of all-staff meeting experience. We currently use 3rd-party tools and want to use Teams, but the Q&A is a cumbersome experience AND our executive cannot each individually show their camera at the same time live as they are answering the questions that come in through the Q&A.
This seems like a gimme sort of feature, but I can't find it anywhere.

This is a necessity for Live events. Having at least two cameras so that a presenter can interview someone and share slides at the same time has been a basic tool in GoToWebinar for a while. If it is to replace those tools on a large scale, at least two camera feeds are absolutely necessary. Please consider this as a top priority.

Would like to have this feature to provide practical training in a laboratory setting with one camera to talk into and one to show the bench/instrument being trained out. Any update on this appreciated.

This seems a natural progression from the meeting concept of teams to allow streaming of live council meetings , AGMs etc with social distancing looking to be here for the foreseeable future

I think that a UserVoice admin should merge some ideas. This one is almost the same https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40124506-multiple-presenters-video

So I found a very round about way of doing this but still limiting. I put our presenters into a normal meeting. Then using OBS I was able to go from grid view to individual cameras or content being shared. The downside to this is with the current 4 person limit you will want to keep it to 4 presenters. This allowed me to have hotkey switching for faster response. Once I setup OBS I used their projector feature to output to a capture card and had a second computer running the live event. Then setting the webcam and microphone to the capture card. Here is an example of what I was able to do with this setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkUI4vfO-0

This should be high priority.
In the regular meetings you can have 4 video feeds up. At the least for the Live Event you should be able to include 4 video feeds of 4 different presenters. We are going to be hosting a webinar that will end with a panel discussion by the 4 presenters and having the producer need to click back and forth between whichever presenter is talking will be cumbersome and a bad viewing experience for the attendees.

Yes if we could have a screen layout that enabled multiple presenter videos and a single screen share if desired that would be great.

Yes, please! It is rather urgent. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40228921-more-than-one-person-on-live-event-screen

I'm surprised this is not more of a priority. With business's more and more leaning towards "town halls" - especially due to covid-19 - where multiple members of staff need to participate (from home, another office or on the move - mobile app) this really needs to be bumped up the list!
