possibility to open teams on Multiple windows (especially when using multiple screens)
As a Ms teams professional user (especially if using multiple screens), i'd like to have the possibility to open different features on different windows so i can multitask simple way using the ALT+TAB feature for example.
1. Chatting with a colleague and need to copy/past an information from another chat without losing the focus on the conversation
2. i am on a meeting, and i want to let it open on a different screen and open a chat (or simply the calendar view to see next meetings)
3... etc etc...
This feature is critical to managing a meeting while presenting content. I need to be able to monitor who's in the call and put people on mute, while sharing or viewing a presentation on a different screen. Bouncing between the two disrupts the meeting. Can't wait for the functionality!
While waiting for this feature to be added, a workaround is to join the meeting on two different apps: one can be the desktop app and the other one can be a browser. Right?
I need to be able to see my students and monitor them on one screen, while presenting from my other screen. We need presentations to pop out or vice versa. Not having this is going to be really hard.

How come dual monitor feature is available when used Crestron/Logitech/ other Microsoft Certified solutions (which includes hardware)?? Tested using a PC with Dual Displays- while share content is initiated from our side, able to separate Presentation to Display-1 and Video layout to Display-2. But this is not happening when presentation is coming from far end.

It would be great to be able to edit notes or files in teams while watching a presentation in a Teams meetings, by using 2 monitors (rather than having the presentation turn into a window so small as to be useless). My understanding is that Teams doesn't support the ability to use multiple monitors yet.
Hi, with all the schools going back to school and some using Teams, when will the multi-monitor feature be available. It is very important for a teacher to be able to see the class and be able to see the presentation at the same time?
The ability to have multiple pop out screens so that you can see someones screenshare/presentation on one monitor and the meeting participants (i.e. video) on the other monitor would be a huge benefit in making virtual meetings feel more natural and fluid on Teams. Please include this functionality as soon as possible! Thank you!

I just realized how awkward it is to not see the speaker and the slide deck at the same time during our Microsoft CSP engagement. Seeing a live face in addition to the PowerPoint presentation can make all the difference between a lively rapport and a monotonous snoozefest.
so need this now that everyone is working from home. honestly this is my favorite part of using zoom meetings
I have MTR setup with Hp elite slice G2 and latest updates regarding win10 and MTR app. How can I turn on gallery view with dual displays? It seems it is only possible with one display?
I would like to see my class on one screen and my share screen on the other. We have video teleconference classrooms at the university that I work for.
We have to use teams for school. I would like to see my class on one screen and my share screen on the other.
I find the Teams frame very constraining: I need to be able to look up "Who" while still in team or channel or a document, without having to find my place again after using "Who". Or to dedicate the whole of the Team frame to a document and have the video of the person I am chatting elsewhere, not obscuring some piece of my document. Ideally I would like to pop out "Who", "Calendar", and meetings as a minimum.
I completely agree, I want to be able to be working in a file on one team, while attending a call or chat for another team, or take a reference from one file into a chat etc. Right now, teams is completely limited to a meeting tool and not really to work as teams and multi-task.....Wasn't that the point of developing Windows in the first place?
Not having multi monitor is a big roadblock to productivity when hosting large meetings.

I think the missing multi montor support is a big issue.
It should be possible to be active in a team stream or having a teams-file open and still not be kicked out when a call comes in.
Also in a call I might want to see the people AND the presentation.
I would the option to be able to open two or more directories within "files" to copy or move files from one location to another without having to chose the whole pad to get there. So copying through drag and drop.

I don't want to choose between
* faces - small and limited number + presentation full scren
* races - large and more of them + miniature presentation
I want the best of BOTH
* Monitor 1 - People's faces. Many of them. Large sized.
* Monitor 2 - Shared screen or presentation. Readable.
Right now, my second monitor is "gonna party like it's 1999".

As we have transitioned to working virtually, Teams is a critical tool. It would be great to have the ability to have multiple Teams Windows open.
Hi! Is is possible to have all presenters faces on the same screen on MS Teams LIVE EVENT ?
