This is really important for remote learning situations. We want to see the participants plus the shared document at the same time

Indispensable de voir les participants en même temps que les documents présentés.

To be able to see your presentation and the audience members at the same time would be a great achievement. Other platforms can do this , come on lets get this avaialbe to make presenting a better experience in MS Teams. :)

I have been supporting distance education for years using hardware codecs and dual monitors for people/content presentations. As we plan a move to software solutions, this is an essential feature. (That should not require dragging windows around or opening a browser and app simultaneously)
BlueJeans, Zoom and WebEx all support dual monitors simply by checking a box.

There is a workaround: You can join the meeting with the teams app and with a browser.

I see "anonymous" Oct 19 2020 12:54 AM hasn't understood the question.
It's sub-optimal to say the least it can't do 2 screens.

Yes it is possible. Press Windows Logo + P and then use the Dual/Extenden Screen option

We really need to be able to do dual monitors on teams meetings. We want to be able to see participants on one and see the full screen of the presentation on the other. We can do this on Zoom but are now using teams at work. Very frustrating.

I just had a client request that we switch all calls to Zoom specifically b/c this is not possible in Teams.

this also needs to support to share one screen and show the together view/gallery view in another window if you are the presenter. but also to view other users presentations/video in separate windows

It is important to see participants videos also when content is shared to capture body languages and faces during content presentation. This would make virtual video meetings so much more efficient but seems to be still a big gap in development of MS Teams. Is there anyone from Microsoft Teams product team who may give us some insights if we can expect a feature that splits Videoscreen from Shared Content screen?

I often unshare content as a presenter, to get folks to focus on interacting with each other, and then reshare when it's time to talk about the content. Not having to go back and forth would be useful, and having separate screens for video/presentation would be helpful.

Agree. This is a big requirement. Most of our staff have dual screens and switching video and presentations is painful. We also have meeting rooms fitted with Dual screens for the same reason. Using Cisco Telepresence. Video on one screen, presentations on the other.

This function is essential for great collaboration. At the moment colleagues are slow to share their screens as they lose the ability to see the other participants which is wrong. There simply needs to be the ability to have camera images on one screen seperate to the shared window, both for viewers and presenters. As others have said this is basic functionality for Zoom users and the reason why we still have to resort to zoom for a lot of our meetings. Please confirm where this function is on the roadmap. It is more important for collaboration than the recently released pop out meeting window, which only serves to allow people to get distracted by still chatting with others when in a meeting!!
