I wish times referenced in messages could be shown in my local time
When I'm talking to a person in another time zone and I reference my own time zone (for example 12:30 EST) and the person I'm chatting with is in another time zone (for example MST) then Teams would suggest adjusting to their time (for example 10:30 MST) or adding it in parentheses.
I also wish that if a person didn't specify a time zone (for example "I'm in a meeting until 11:30"), teams would assume that they were referring to their local time and make it easy to adjust the time to my perspective - maybe giving it a 1:30 PM EST tool tip or putting "(1:30 PM EST)" after it in parentheses.
I'd like this feature on by default, but I'd imagine some people would wan the ability to turn it off.
This would be super handy for me since I work with people in multiple time zones and hemispheres and daylight saving time differences affect times referenced in messages.
I'd imagine suggesting the time zone translation at the time the message is created would be best because trying to inject it into the content after the fact would have to take into account when the message was written in order to properly handle DST.
