Implement a feature to verify anonymous attendees in Teams live event
It would be great that admins could verify the anonymous external user’s name which was used when joining in Teams live event via mobile devices.
I have staff members who won't post a question because they didn't know they could be anonymous, so it works both ways.
Need to have the option to turn off Anon questions... you can still post the question, just not anon.
EDIT: and of course the system flags my comment as Anon....of course...

Yup. Just had a student post "********" in the chat. Would love to turn off anonymous posts in Live Events.

It would also be great to be able to turn off anonymous posts if needed.

we need to identify anonymous users from external entities while live event.
It would be great to have a list of attendees with at least first, last name even the anonymous attendees join the Teams live event. After the live event, Q&A report and attendee list doesn't show anonymous attendee's information. It will be great if we know who is attending and specifically who is asking the question.
Microsoft Live Event
1) If a participant/attendee joins the live event anonymously, there is no option to collect their personal details except name like e-mail, mobile no.etc.,
2) No option to generate participation certificate for the attendees of the live event.
But then they wouldn't be anonymous?
This would be great to have.
