Announcement Banner Customization With Banner Image
As of now, when posting an announcement in Teams you cannot choose the text colour when using a banner, it defaults to white and puts a grey layer over the image. This appears to be for ensuring contrast between the background and the text, but it would be nice to be able to manually change this.
Agreed - Like posts below, I created a 918 x 120 px image to fit the banner but the grey, coloured layer makes the image upload pointless - it looks horrible over top of the image!
There needs to be a "no colour" option for the background.
It would be great if there were some pre-formatted stock images to select from beyond solid color blocks. Or the option to search for images online like in other MS products.

Is the Announcement Banner responsive? It seems to size one sized banner differently across platforms?
I overcame the justification problem by creating the image with the logo/icon on the right and clipping a rectangle to the size 918 x 120 pixels

On a similar note, is there a way to adjust image justification? All of Microsoft's banner images are right-justified, which creates a consistent outcome. However, all my banners are center justified, which means any image that I want to show up to the right of the text disappears when the window is made smaller than the width of the image.

Absolutely, it would also be nice to be able to adjust or at least enable/disable the image ovarlay. The overlay works well with photographs, but, it's more or less impossible to create graphics that comply with a company profile.
