Teams freezes if "Logitech Group" USB Conference Webcam is attached
Whenever I plug in the "Logitech Group" conference system (webcam/microphone, https://www.logitech.com/de-de/product/conferencecam-group) into my Macbook Pro (Catalina 10.15.3) via USB, MS teams freezes and I cannot start any call. Only unplugging fixes the freeze.
Basically I cannot use our video conferencing system with Teams, despite it being advertised as being compatible. Using other Apps on my Macbook to record videos works fine, so definitely a Teams problem.

Microsoft has always been more about cost conscious than quality...leaving their user community to find there endless bugs and outsourcing to India to ensure robust quality with excellent user experience. pheh Even India admits 'human experience' isn't in their vocabulary. Such a joke. The least they can do is publish known problems

Yep, MS Teams, Mac Catalina and Logitech Cams still not working...why does it take them so long to fix this freezing issue with one of the world biggest selling webcam solutions?

Same problem here. However if you leave Teams sitting for about 2 minutes, it will start working again. A reboot with the cam connected also works. So while this bug is present, you can work around it by planning ahead and connecting the cam 2-3 minutes before you need it. Really annoying though.

Hi all,
Just use the online version of teams until this get fixed. You can even supply users a direct URL to teams, they might just need to click 'Use web app'.
I just tested with my logitech device. Microphone, Speaker and Camera. And it WORKS great!
Yes you have the use the browser (Chrome, Safari won't work), but that's is fine for now until they fix the issue. I see no performance issues.
Have a nice day

While you're at it, every time I have any kind of external audio device hooked up to my Mac, iFi DAC, etc... IT causes teams to crash when I try to join a meeting. I have to disconnected all my external hardware to join a meeting on Teams... If I didn't have to use Teams, I wouldn't be and if I can persuade my organization to switch back to SLACK, that's what I will be doing. SLACK is much more stable across all platforms and isn't a Frankenstein application cobbled together from the remains of Skype.

Fix it or leave the Mac ecosystem altogether so we can move on and find other options and use your competitors but don't half *** your Mac solutions. SLACK is much more stable. I'd be more than happy to use Slack for internal discussions. I already use it for chatting with clients.

As of today, March 27th, this is still an issue! I have tried this on two different MacBook Pros with Mohave (10.14) and both exhibit the same behavior - Teams completely locks up to input. Once I disconnect the camera, Teams works fine.
At a time where we're all having to work remotely, this is a HUGE issue. My company and my clients are both using Teams and I am unable to use anything but my laptop-based camera/mic/speaker to function.

Plese fix this issue Microsoft. It must be a bug in Teams. It should either fix it, or handle the error (and give logs/instructions to logitech if they are sending incorrect data)

Please address this asap. We choosed these Teams-certified devices for a reason. Now it's the opposite and not working as should!

Seems there are a lot of concerns for Logitech Meetup. This community might be helpful for your type of questions https://devicebase.net/en/logitech-meetup/questions.

Same issue here. MacOS Catalina and Logitech MeetUp with newest firmware.
100% updated teams.Connect camera, Teams freezes. Disconnect camera, Teams wake up again.
The rest of the Mac is working as it is supposed to.Also tried a different Logitech MeetUp with same result.
It seems if we leave the camera in for 6-8 min or so, it suddenly works. However, if it happens again during the meeting, that would be a forced break that not always would be optimal...
