Retain Caller ID Information in Call History
When a call comes in there is caller ID information, but the history does not retain this information. Can the caller ID information be retained?

For our userbase we have both teams client on mobile iOS/Android app deployed they also have access to windows desktop like most organizations. Naturally differences between the two will be picked up, then seen as a "problem" please please acknowledge this issue and put on roadmap.

This is a basic requirement for any telephony system. Surely. (Airplane)
There's 30 days in the call quality log but without other participants' names.
I have an outstanding call right now from a Solicitor wishing to add this info to his notes but we can't give him what he needs. -

Yes please fix this issue, basic requirement.
We have developed a SBC integration with a catalog service in Norway (1881.no) where we add the name in SIP From header. The mobile client do most things right, the name shows up in: Call Alert, Active Call, Feed and History. The desktop Windows 10 App only shows the name during Call Alert. The name in SIP From header is not showing up in Active Call, Feed or History.

If you look in your mobile history, it is there - just not on desktop.

Yes, paramount that history remembers the caller ID Name information that displays when the phone is ringing.

Seems like this should have been a basic feature from the start...

Why wouldn't you input the caller ID, then if they already have a contact for them, override it with that... it's pretty standard for a phone system really... and show both the phone number and caller ID in the history.

Since this is done on most handset devices, this doesn't seem like a huge effort yet it just 'makes sense' to adopt and my customer has requested it from us.

This works on the Yeahlink IP Phones and iOS Devices now. When do you plan on updating the Teams Windows 10 Client to support Caller ID Name History?
