Screen Sharing with 3440 x 1440 Resolution shows as a black screen
Screen Share with recent Teams build for 3440 x 1440 resolution shows a black screen. Perhaps add an ability to see resolution or zoom or select what needs to be shared with the user.
We are happy to update that the fix for this issue is rolled out, as part of this client version (1.3.00.13565). Please check for latest updates. Thanks.

We have also facing the resolution related issue in Teams application If we reduce the resolution from 3440×1440 to 2560x1440 then desktop shared users able to see that my screen.
please provide solution ASAP
What is the expected resolution date for this?
It feels strange to read every second day about functionality additions on Teams while your bread&butter, your fundamental functionality "Screen Sharing" does not work for hundreds of thousands of users.
Think about your enterprise users who cannot just migrate to a competitor solution that works - we are tied to this and it is only frustrating.
Thanks for a meaningful answer!
screen sharing with 3340x1440 should work
This was reported almost 4 months ago. Why is it not yet fixed especially as the demand for screen sharing is only going to increase?
Same issue here.. got an ultawide 3340x1440.. no dice on the screen share

Speaking of slack.
Does it support screen sharing and 3440x1440?
Guess I will have to go research and find out. Only takes time away from trying to provide M$ solutions. But why bother, they don't listen to loser voices anyways!
Give'm some slack here guys. It's not like they can just copy the same code for 2560x1440 use it for 3440x1440. I mean, we're talking about almost 1K additional vertical lines here.
This is still broken for 3440x1440, sharing individual applications is not a viable work around.
Any update on this? when can we expect fix?
Please let me know when fixed
1.3.00.12058 (64 bit). It was last updated on 07/05/2020.
Please fix asap....
STILL WAITING FOR FIX AND IT SUCKS

This problem keeps coming back. It works for a few days, and then it's broken again. This is ridiculous. In it's infancy, Teams handled 3440x1440 flawlessly...find that old code and bring it back.
The problem is that changing the resolution back/forth totally breaks Outlook until you reboot the computer. The inbox message list scrolling nightmare rears it's ugly head, when you click on any message, the entire message list jumps in Outlook as a result of the back/forth changes to resolution.

I have this same issue where sharing the desktop (screen) results in a black screen. What I don't understand is why you can share a single application at the same resolution maximized to fit the entire screen and it appears normally. This is a major problem when collaborating with team members on a wide screen and looking at two different applications. Need to be able to share more than one application at a time.
Screen Resolution is 3440x1440.
