Allow Admins to Remotely Login Phones
Going from an environment where PIN Auth could remotely login a customer's phone without any interaction from the user, to requiring the user to login is a terrible burden placed on the implementation & IT support team. If not PowerShell, at least an option on the teams admin device management page to select what user to login. https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/devices/manage

We need this feature. 75% of my Teams voice tickets are common area phones that get signed out some how and need to be signed back in(password changes, MFA expires, etc...) the Remote Provisioning seems to only work less than half the time and takes way to long. We need the ability to click somewhere in the Admin Center on a device and select a user to sigin into the phone. This is a big issue in our business.

OP, are you talking about assigning phones or remotely logging them in? Huge caveat to how it was implemented is it can only be done for the first sign in. As a user below said. at minimum allow remote login via the phones web interface like the trio or vvx can do when in skype mode. This limitation is keeping us from changing over roughly 80 Trios to Teams mode instead of Skype mode using the 3 pip gateway
we really need this...
MS please enable the remote login feature through the Teams dashboard, our organization have 400 common area phones it makes it hard for troubleshooting and also get users to login to phones by themselves.
We need this capability !
For Poly devices Like Trio/VVX phones this was available through the web interface with Skype for Business mode. With Teams mode the option to sign-in remote (via web interface) is no loger available.
