Cross Organization Notifications
It would be great if I could receive notifications while I'm in a different organization in teams.
Say there are two organizations 'A' and 'B' while i'm in organization 'A' I won't receive any notifications from organization 'B'. This leads to me easily missing notifications.

This is such an important feature. I've not been able to reply to messages in a timely manner due to lack of cross-organisation notifications. The only saving grace is that I get an email to tell me that there is activity I need to respond to ("Your teammates are trying to reach you") but even then, this email can arrive over an hour after the messages were sent.
Microsoft, please look into this as a priority.

I use Teams to collaborate with research teams in several different universities. Not seeing notifications from Teams outside my organization is a huge downside that used to not be an issue. Please fix this!

MS stop doing "blind agile" and start managing these tickets from an UX perspective please

Yes, this is needed.
The latest Teams upgrade made it even worse - now there is the separate menu for organizations and it doesn't show the activity numbers next to the organization like the old version did! Bring that back atleast. -

My biggest gripe is that this this used to work, but got ripped out in the UX-change that happened a while back when the org-switcher was moved into the drop down menu.
This is currently causing severe negative impact on my ability to manage all my customer engagements (I communicate in >20 external Teams organisations weekly). I no longer get notified when someone mentions me until an email randomly shows up hours later. My response time (and therefore my quality delivery as an advisory consultant) is suffering as a result.
We spent three years onboarding all our customers to Teams because this worked a lot better than emails, only to have the rug pulled out from underneath us by a UX-designer. Come on MS, this is unacceptable.

This is a pain for people working in IT Industry where we work for our Organization plus Client Organization. I always wish one of them dont use Teams ... so easy to collaborate...
Please bring this feature ... -

It's just amazing this is not properly implemented in Teams. Many people are involved in different organizations, so this is a must. Other apps, like Slack, have this obvious feature...

We work with several outsourcing companies. We have our "Teams" Tenant, they have their own "Teams" Tenant. We need to invite them to some of our internal teams, but they argue that having 2+ Tenants (drop-down menu up right side) is not useful since they dont receive alerts, calls, etc. from the not-loggued Tenant. As a result, we are giving up using teams, which is the most useful "Teams" feature.
Having a separate web browser is awkard workaround.
Please! Implement cross organization notifications!! -

As subcontractor I am often working for several clients. Being logged in one tenant and not getting any messages/notifications from others means Teams no longer work as instant messaging platform, but merely as an email. Quite insufficient, please fix this!

I noticed I was missing some notifications recently, but didn't quite know why. After some testing, I saw that it's because I'm a guest in multiple Organizations, and only the active Organization gets notifications. As a freelancer, this basically means I need to open teams and switch Orgs a few times a day. Missing notifications makes me look unresponsive, which really makes me not want to use Teams!

Useless without cross domain notifications.

... and calls. Without this, people resort to the physical phone to advise me that a Teams call is in progress. Many of us have at least two AD accounts and are guests of many client Teams. As a Microsoft partner, it makes it difficult for us to execute our advisory role with clients because they need to ring us to get our attention.

Yes, solving this problem will make cross organization work easier and less of a headache for multi org users.

Agreed - working in multiple organizations is currently a big PITA

+1 - Using Mac app, and we have missed notifications from a client on multiple occasions.
This is preventing us from fully adopting Teams across our organization.
