macOS notification center
It would be extremely helpful if Microsoft Teams would integrate with macOS Catalina's Notification Center. Currently, Teams only provides a small pop up notification and if you are using 2 or more displays, you can easily miss these notifications.

Also, because they are not integrated into the MacOS notifications (the opposite of any other 3rd party app in MacOS), they show over or under the MacOS, it's a usability mess

Additionally, teams notifications show up UNDER Catalina's and MacOS 11 (BigSur's) notifications, making them impossible to read.

The short version of Notification Center integration is 'Please support Push Notifications'

I second this. Built-in Teams notifications are incredibly hard to read. They don't obey "do not disturb" settings.
Please - just hook into the built-in MacOS Notification Center.
Agreed, and using the standard notifications would also allow for using the system-wide 'do not disturb' function instead of having to toggle that separately for the Teams app.

and it ignores MacOS do not disturb
