Want to choose whether to save Teams meeting recordings to Stream
Recordings of Teams meetings are stored in Stream.
If not licensed, it will be stored in Media Service on Azure (using Blob storage.
We use the Stream feature.
Streams have a limited capacity.
Once the recording has been saved, it puts pressure on the Stream's capacity.
Please implement the function to select whether to save to Stream.
Voted! Agree, administrative controls should be allowed to control where Teams recordings are saved. *Especially* considering there is a lack of metadata/lifecycle control with videos stored in MS Steam today.
Yes please, for teachers of young pupils it is another element for them to cope with. If pre-recorded classes are filmed in a private meeting (so no one joins) then the only way to share in the class Team is via Stream which is another thing for young pupils to have to navigate through.

Yes, definitely stop the default publishing of recorded team meeting to MS Stream. Give user option to save to .MP4 file within the Team files.
