Ability to Save email attachments directly to TEAMS
When receiving an email with attachments today I can only either save the entire email to teams or I have to save the attached documents to my personal Onedrive and then upload to TEAMS. I would like the ability to save attachments direct to the appropriate TEAMS channel.
Why do we need to pay for third party products to do something so simple? Sure, with a bunch of additional clicks we can drag and drop from outlook to the intended sharepoint folder in a browser window, but it really should be as simple as File > Save As. This deserves to be voted to the top.
You can use Attach2Cloud. It can be used for new emails (so you can send an email with for example a 1TB attachment and the attachment will be uploaded to a Team channel... this is just a drag&drop operation dragging the 1TB file to the Outlook message and then when you click on Send you will select the Team's channel). You can also take an existing attachment from an existing email, right click on it and just upload to the desired Team's channel
Pls. introduce a simple right click menu menu on attachments in mails to enable this critical feature

You can do this. Do the following:
1. In a Teams channel, Open in Sharepoint (This will open your Teams channel in a browser)
2. Drag attachment from Outlook message to the browser which will upload it to the current selected folder.

I have found a solution in that I’ve created my own personal channel, and if I need anything uploaded I can email it to the channel where it’s automatically uploaded then just move to whichever folder necessary. To email the channel just click on the 3 dots & it’ll show ‘Get Email Address’.
at a minimum i should be able to take the direct link to the teams folder and paste it in the outlook save attachments window. The better solution would be for a save-to-teams option in outlook that allows me to browse my teams the the file locations

You already can kinda do this if you use OneDrive to sync your Teams(SharePoint) folders.
- in a Teams Files tab, click Open in SharePoint
- once you've got it open in a browser, click the Sync button > follow the instructions
- after that, you'll see your Teams folder in your file system > means you now can save from Outlook directly to a Teams folder
Keep in mind though, with the Sync enabled, stuff you delete from "your PC" (the synced folder on your PC) will obviously be deleted from the Teams folder for everyone (and end up in the SharePoint recycle bin)
