Read receipt for Channel messages
I understood that read confirmations for chats are now active, but for channel messages this is not planned. This is a very desirable option. Leave it up to the users whether they want to activate it or not!

Hi, i used thoroughly Teams in managing remote teams, and it really helps solving my day.
Having said this, missing reading receipts for channels conversation really is a pain point. What i usually ask the team is to provide an ack feedback, but is really messy.

For schools that use Microsoft Teams this is a highly desirable feature - both for academic and co-curricular groups as channel messages are the default and most natural comms tool to use. This functionality gap leads to workarounds which in a school environment (or indeed any environment I imagine!) is far from ideal.

Very important feature for those seeking to leverage MS Teams as a key communication tool.

An important feature, as important o more than in chats, so you can know what's been the audience of your posts in the channel or who hasn't been aware of an important post.

A very needed feature.

Better to implement it like Skype's mini avatars appearing at the bottom of the channel.
