In the meantime, update the UI to explain it isn't available when doing a public event, so tenants aren't wasting time with support only to find out it isn't even available. It took the MS support team 3 days to finally tell us themselves.

We want to be able to use OBS to have a better experience for our parents when we do live events at the school.

Esperemos que esta opción se incorpore lo antes posible, y desde Stream se podrá emitir a todos los publicas utilizando dispositivos de terceros

It is curious that an external audience can be served by a production using web cams but not with professional production equipment.

This is more related to Stream, as when an external app or device is used this goes over MS Stream and not exclusively Teams. Stream is not 'exposed' to the outside world.

We have a few customers that are looking at global public streaming using an external encoder to ingest into a Teams Live event.
Currently they are advised to use Facebook or YouTube for this, we would love it if it was within Teams/Stream.
