Reply to specific message in chat on desktop app
Having the ability to reply to specific messages in a chat on the desktop app. This is available on mobile today.
Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

It's amazing that we need 50k votes so Microsoft will consider implementing a basic feature every other chat platform has.... Pathetic

I actually realize I would like to be able to reply to specific posts in this forum too :-), like the one on page 237
It's frustrating that I need to pull out my phone in order to respond directly to a specific message
Do we need 50k votes to get your attention ?? C'mon MS, be a `team` player and give us this capability.
Definitely want to get my vote in for this feature. Really surprised this isn't already done.
Any ETA on this? Since Teams is being used massively via the desktop app, the reply function really needed to be added yesterday :)

This feature is definitely required on the desktop version, could not believe the feature is not syn on both mobile and desktop version in the MS product.

Its annoying that i have it on mobile app but not on desktop.... I want this feature very badly. it helps avoid miscommunications

On the backlog since May last year. Not very impressed. This ia a basic feature in any feedback- central system. Get it done.
