Pin video feed in a recording
When recording a broadcast, the subsequent video created shows the video feeds of other participants (and initials if there is no video feed). Please create a feature where the organizer can mark a video feed as the "Recording feed" so that video feed is full screen on playback.
Use case: Project boards; an external camera is viewing a project board - we want it to be full screen so users can have a clear view of the board rather than having it quarter of the size and 3 boxes filled up with initials of some of the participants.

I cannot measure my frustration today after watching the Teams broadcast I recorded for 6 hours with a pinned participant as a highlighted screen turned out to be a gallery view of all participants.
In the recording, the main screen was cropped and all the important portions of the screen that I pinned was gone. This recording is part of a crucial project in my department and now I can’t turn back time to fix this failure.
How can this function absent in Microsoft Teams? Even spotlighting doesn’t make a difference in your recording output.
There is not even any warning prior to recording in Teams about how your recording is going to turn out. And I have not seen a walkaround method to solve this. Microsoft should fix this issue.

Can you give us an idea when this feature will be implemented for all users?
Your page (which has no date by the way) on this issue states:
"If you record a meeting in which someone's video is spotlighted, the video won't be spotlighted in the recording. This is just a temporary limitation, though—stay tuned for updates."
Please can you tell us when these famed updates might begin to appear?

How does this not already exist?
When recording in teams, it won't even take in consideration the spotlight view that is highlighting a certain presentation and instead is showing a completely different view that we actually getting in the live demo. -

This is an important feature - I waste time having to edit videos after meetings to crop out the other video feeds. If the feed is pinned during the meeting, then that's what we want to see in the recording.

Yes, we do desperately need to be able to pin ourselves, and it needs to be viewed this way in recordings for our students. My students need to see me! Not four other people on the grid. This is crucial.

This is critical. Interviewing for work daily why would I want a video recording of my own face when I am video editing the interviewee into a clip? I now have a sliver to work with. Zoom for the win here kids.

It is so important to be able to record and share video as it appears. It is bad enough that Teams makes you manually focus on the person speaking instead of auto shifting as people speak.

+1; I desperately need this; This is why I'm forced to use Zoom calls where you can pin the speaker in the recording. I'd rather do everything in Teams...

This would be great for Student Data Privacy!

+1 - we definitely need the ability to record the pinned or the spotlighted video full screen or this platform won't work for us in the future. thanks!

I tried recording a single interview subject today using "spotlight". The lone speaker was on my screen the whole recording but when I downloaded the video there was a split screen with the interviewer and myself's initials---- please let me know if this feature is up and running.

This would be a great development!!! rather than having a split-screen it would be great to either pin who you want the video to stay on without other participants in the window or have the ability to spotlight whoever is talking.

Please, oh Please! I am helping a tech-less person record a digital speech for a graduation ceremony. Working remote makes this impossible to do during these times. Lets get the Pin Video feed up NOW!!!!!
