JBL Headset not compatible with MS Teams
After searching the internet for 2 days, I have realized that my newly purchased JBL headset is not compatible with MS Teams. Do I have to check this compatibility before I buy any accessories to my laptop? It does not make any sense.
OS: Window 10
Teams Version: Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.22472 (64-bit)
I have a JBLTUNE750BTNC. Once you have connected the device with Windows.
In Team. Go to "Device Setting"
1.Speaker : "Headset (JBLTUNE750BTNC Hands-Free AG Audio) (Bluetooth)"
2. Microphone : "Headset (JBLTUNE750BTNC Hands-Free AG Audio)"
PS: If you use "Headset (JBLTUNE750BTNC Stereo) (Bluetooth)". The Microphone does not work.
Same issue with JBL Tune 750 btnc we are in 2021 now and Microsoft couldn't still fix this issue even after 2 years. How pathetic?

Same issue with JBL460BT with Microsoft teams, it doesnt work it shows all static or jibberish noise in ear when we try calling through teams. People on this thread are saying to use Mic from laptop, whats the purpose of the headphones with bluetooth when you cant walk freely and have to sit in front of laptop for mic is on laptop.. Highly disappointed.
Works for 5 minutes before everything sounds like a time space warp. Switch them off and on, work for 5 minutes, robot voices, rinse, repeat...
JBL is a big brand, why can't this get some issue attention from Microsoft or JBL?
Sorry but the work around of using them in Stereo and use the laptops built-in mic just doesn't work....
I have a set of Bluetooth Oppo ear buds that did the same thing when I initially received them, which now work just fine in Hands-free mode, including mic on Teams.
I have bought JBL500BT, its not working MS Teams. None of the option mentioned below are helping.

JBL500 BT Headphone is not compatible with MS Teams & Skype.
After searching the internet for few days, I have realized that my newly purchased JBL headphone is not compatible with MS Teams. Do I have to check this compatibility before I buy any accessories to my laptop? It does not make any sense. How to fix this Problem?
I had this same problem with JBL Tune 750BT in MS Teams but thanks to this thread (and I believe Pradeep Kumar in particular) it's now fixed. In MS Teams go to Device Settings and change to:
Speaker - headphones([your headphone model] Stereo) NOT hands free
Microphone - (your PC Mic).
Hope it works for others too. Thanks.
As Metin Koc suggested I disabled my JBL 110 BT headset at the device manager. Now the phone is operating well when I use Webex, but my voice echoing so others cannot hear me properly. Anyone has any idea how to solve this issue?
Same issue with JBL T450BT with both MS Teams and Webex. Disabling the hands free solved my problem. You wonder why this isn't sorted 3 years later
It is sad that both parties are silent about this issue in public and when contacted just comment that we have not certified or promised this product to work with Teams.
I have JBL Tune 600 BTNC which does not work with Teams and JBL Tune 205BT (in-ear) which does work with Teams. It would be nice to know what is the difference between the implementation of these and why the latter one works. If it is a driver issue it should be quite easy to fix but if it is a hardware issue on JBL's on/over-ear headphones then it is more tricky problem.
Does anyone know if the new models from JBL (on/over-ear models) work with Teams on Windows? Which ones?
Go to device manager and disable the Hands free Device Audio
The same problem with JBL TUNE660BTNC...

Same issue I am facing with my JBL 100TWS. It shows micro phones are not working. Although, if works fine when i play songs, videos on you tube etc.
Please Microsoft fix the issue with JBL driver to use their headset with MS Teams!

This is totally daft that I need to disable the hands-free to make this work. This is an ongoing issue from 2019!! And on a popular headphone brand!
U should buy a aux cable with built in mic ...it's available online. ... I had the same problem with my JBL 700bt
Just found this forum. For me as well, disabling JBL LIVE400BT heads-free AG Audio fixed the issue in Teams. Now, I need a similar solution for GoToMeeting.
Thank you for your suggestions.
Come on Microsoft - this is an issue from 2019 - sort your stuff out!!
Why is it that every other piece of software works beautifully with my headset and Teams is the only app for which it doesn't? Proprietary software ain't worth jack if it works worse than everything else out there...

Same issue with JBL glide 120. Mic does not work. If at it work sometime, voice starts breaking after 1-2 minutes. It works perfect with mobile but not with laptop and specially with MS Teams
