Provide the same Q&A moderator capability in Live Events within Teams
Even with smaller team meetings, there is often a need to have Q&A moderation rather than scrolling through chat or opening up the floor to Q&A.
It would be useful to leverage the Q&A moderation capability found in Live Events within simple meetings.

With Live events being such a "production" and the limited number of SMEs to handle these not having the ability to simply add the function to enable/disable moderated Q&A is causing confusion as to which platform to use for simple meeting of 350 or less.

This is needed badly especially for the more interactive presentations. This wouldn't take away from the benefits of a Live Event as they server different purposes.
Being able to ask questions privately and off the main Chat page is needed when groups get larger so they don't distract from the main conversation. As your capacity increases so does this feature. If not available natively is there anyway it can be made as an app or similar?

We have several professors requesting more Live Event productions for small classes, simply because they want to make use of the Q&A function. This means many students have had to migrate to less interactive Live Events sessions, instead of normal Teams sessions just because a teacher wants the special Q&A function.
We would also appreciate this function for normal Teams meetings due to some students posting explicit or annoying content in the Teams meeting chat.

Please add also "dislike" option. Switch "post as anonymous" should also be possible like in Live Events.

Definitely agree with this. Some chat moderation would be wonderful (the ability to delete problematic messages, especially when on a call with children who may post sensitive info) and the ability to force cameras off such as in teams live would be amazing. This would allow for the increased collaboration available in teams meetings without the inherent privacy issues associated with that.

Yes I agree. We need these controls with more meaningful interacting with children who you have to constantly communicate with and making sure they are on point and ok because most times parents themselves are working remotely or and doing chores.
From our community experience we need live voice and interaction with children. Lets think about this one hard and with a lot of thinking. Plus it makes it a lot more fun and the kids love it.
Thank you. -

This would be great for safety and large group control in summer camps especially!

100 % - These controls applied to Teams Live Meetings, will allow for a more meaningful interacting with our attendees (in smaller groups, like Summer Camps for instance) while also maintaining an appropriate environment in our Chat area. The quicker the better to maintain the best user experience for our younger audiences who may not benefit from a Teams LIVE meeting. In addition, for ease of scheduling.

Currently in the chat you can't remove it.
Feature would be important for Businesses for privacy/content sharing and also general users seeing inappropriate msgs

We want to be able to keep the Teams chat a safe and friendly place. At least add ability for Organizer to delete messages

This feature would be immensely helpful, especially when using Teams with students. Once something is posted in the chat you can't remove it, so if something inappropriate or even just a rude comment is posted, the meeting organizer, teacher, etc. cannot do anything about it.
This would be a great feature to add to meeting options so the organizer could add the function to the Teams Meeting if needed.
I'd vote 10 times if I could!!

This would be great. This is a functionality missing when you are used to Skype meetings and switch over to Teams.

Cette fonctionnalité serait bénéfique dans le cadre des cours à distance que nous serons amenés à offrir.

Yes please, implement the Q&A in meetings to be moderated by the Event Organizer, ideally let him promote other participants as co-organizers or Q&A moderators :)
There is definitely a point where choosing live event over regular meetings is not desirable as it's listen mode only and a delay!

Yes I agree. There is a need to show more than four people in meetings and raise your hand.

Agree with this suggestion.

For us the Raise your Hand feature would probably be enough, but of course that's just for my Company's arranged meeting situation.
