How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Ability to shrink the search bar.

The search bar spans a large area of the top bar. It's very difficult to move the Teams window around my desktop because we can't click and drag

    Please MS folks.... you need to hire some UX people that do not think code or backlog first.
    Ability to move the bar and minimizing useless features are basic functionalities.

    Please listen to users. We pay your bills (until we fed up of this and decide to go to "good old GSuite, now Workspace")

    Yes this Search Bar is absolutely THE MOST annoying thing in Teams. and guess what... the "DECLINED" doing anything about it. This forum may say "UserVoice" but thanks admin @Warren for telling to that we don't matter since Sept 2018. IT IS STILL JUST AWFUL in 2020 and soon 2021
    You would think Microsoft would fix this

    Second, third, and fourth this. So difficult to move the window when not full size. I use mine "snapped" to half of my monitor. Search bar is twice as long as the cramped 2 line chats that remain in the right hand column,

    full agree! The search bar is so long that there is NO WAY to move the window, there is no real draggable title bar space because the searchbar is so long.
    What about this: searchbar is small but when I click inside - or there is something inside - it expands to the full width? I rarely use the search bar.. but I move the teams window around all the time.

    Agree. There needs to be a clear area on the title bar so we can grab and move the window. There is no need for the search bar to be so big given that most of the time you only type a few characters before choosing some result.
    This is the one window on my desktop (among very many) that I struggle to move and manage. I have to move it all the time while collaborating because I'm working in other windows while chatting.
