Present in Live Event from mobile device
Allow presenters to join and present in the Live event from their mobile devices. Include the option to present from both cameras, front and back one.
We are having busines updates around the openspace. Therefore, having presenters using their mobile devices to present themselves, or present the person next to them speaking would greatly increase the usability of live event.
Not only, would the off site team been able to attend/present "in the field", but also office based staff would benefit greatly from having significant announcements done in the openspace rather than enclosed area of a meeting room.

Still not working unfortunately.
Would be really great and was unexpected, that it didn't work. -

Agreed - only having presenters on the full Teams app on a laptop is very limiting. The "Presenter" role is joining much like a regular Teams meeting, so not sure why the mobile Teams app can't offer this capability.

Being able to do this would enable virtual hands on product training - if joined from a smartphone and shared the camera... I would say this is a must have!

Any news about this topic? We're increasing the use of mobile devices, it's unbelievable we haven't this option yet, the mobile app it works very well, but could be better used.

I thought this was obviously included until I did a trial run through and couldn't present on my phone...

I fully support this, now more than every we need more flexibility. Not everyone has access to a desktop or laptop device.

Com a expansão cada vez mais da mobilidade, temos cenários onde a força de vendas só atua com equipamento de mobilidade (tablet e celular) e precisam efetuar apresentações em Eventos ao vivo com mais de 1000 de pessoas.

This would be highly beneficial for our Council Members who use iPads already and are likely to be doing so even more in support of our response and changed working to COVID9

I totally agree with this as sometimes we need the presenter to be in the field to present

As a real estate agent, when the pandemic ends, I need to transition from virtual open houses to combined virtual/in-person open houses, so the mobile with front/back camera versatility would be excellent.

Teams will undoubtedly lose out to Zoom in a big way, not being able to use the mobile app is a showstopper for us and thousands of other local authorities.

We have situations where it would be really advantageous to be able to use a smartphone for the presenter!

100% sure that this worked before. Even a few weeks ago, I got it working (after trying to join about 20 times, the 21st time, I suddenly was joined as a presenter from my Android). Why would they retract a functionality that worked fine before ?

I can't believe this hasn't received a ton more votes. Perhaps they haven't been used as much before the covid-19 lockdowns. This would be very beneficial to be able to add presenters who only travel around with their tablets and / or smart phones. For now, i have to train up all my guests on what they'll see and experience while waiting for their turn as presenter as they can only use their laptop or MacBook with the full client.
