How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Backwards Compatabile with ios 9.3.5

I have an old iPad and looking to turn it into an office comunication device.

Can the teams app be made available for older devices - albeit perhaps a cut down version?

    Dear Microsoft team, this is a humble request from hundreds of parents that kindly reverse the compatibility of Microsoft team as thousands of students are having online classes and we can not afford to purchase newer versions of iPad in this crisis time. We expect you to be human than just a corporate. Thank you

    It is indeed very lowly of both Apple Inc. and Microsoft, both technical giants, both having no dearth of technological experts and money, and still not making a software like Teams compatible with a lower version so that it reaches the kids who really need it for their regular schooling in the times when the pandemic is ravaging everywhere.
    More than 90% of the kids, both in school and college need this platform to study and there they are..... unable to do so, because either their parents cannot afford to buy new devices which are compatible with each other (the device and the software) or simply drop out on their dreams of getting quality education.
    Shame on you Microsoft and Apple Inc. and you greed.
    I have been following this thread for a long time, hoping to find a solution to this problem of MS Teams and IOS 9.3 compatibility. The donations in the name of charity are useless as long as you do not address the basic problems that the students are facing with your softwares and devices.

    A lot of parents nowadays here in Philipines losses their jobs, some children we're forcing their selves to work and sell foods on the street just to buy gadgets for their online class. Others were forced to stop their studies because they can't afford to buy gadgets and can't afford to apply for internet, and for those who already have gadgets and internet access on their home can now chill and relax at home without thinking problems and instead focus on more important matters that will help them to survive this pandemic year, but there you are, you cannot extend a small symphaty to all parents and students out there who suffered too much. Please help our kids download the teams for ios 9.3.5 because we don't have enough money to buy a new gadget in this time of crisis.

    Micosoft and Bill gates spending lot of money on philanthropy.. but Apple and micorosoft together not solving problem of an app not compatible for ios 9.3.6.. How many students can be benefited by this they don't understand.

    Even i have this problem...I have only 1 big device at home that is ipad 3.I can use ZOOM on it but not Microsoft Teams so I cannot attend my classes on it

    Why it is not compatible with iOS9?
    My students are not that rich to buy new hardware.
    At least, please make Web App which works on old devices.

    In current situation, COVID-19, school are closed and kids to use electronic devices to attend the online classes, I request Windows / Apple have to help by making it compatible with ios 9.3.5 devices.

    Dear microsoft team. Hope you are not dumb guys.. I see 100s of people are requesting for coming up with teams compatible with iOS9.3.5 so that iPad 2 and iPad 3 users will be able to use teams. Zoom, Google duos all work on ipad 2 and 3.

    I will tell you guys , it is a shame on part of Apple to do something like this where ipad2 cannot be upgraded to iOS 10 and Microsoft teams cannot be installed on iOS 9.3.5 . Is this what Apple calls ethics ? I want to alarm all those who are spending their hard money on Apple equipment’s. At a time when iPad 2 was launched , owning iPad was luxury yet we bought . Anything happens , they don’t repair n all you have to do is to pick new one and it the difference . Today the same iPad is useless . So those who are thinking of buying Apple gadgets today , think twice . You will pay so much money today and 2-3 yrs down the line , you will be in our position . They would have made these obsolete , no support , no update and you have to buy new one . So don’t make the mistake that we did . You still have an option . Go and buy something android so that you don’t get stuck with these greedy company .
    I was a big Apple fan , I bought Mac, 2ipad , 4-5 phones including 11 pro. This was the dumbest thing I ever did in life .
