Teams Rooms when displayed should have a support attribute that can link to a specific teams channel for Bot support
We are planning to deploy 1000+ Team Room Solutions globally and need a simple method for employees to contact the Help Desk for all the Teams conference rooms. Through Exchange I have been testing the new Set-Place command to apply additional attributes to the Room Mailboxes which now can display Icons representing specific room equipment assigned to the Room. Currently there is no specific attribute for support information or a link that would display on a Room Console or via Teams apps. I was thinking that the best approach would be to have a link for the Room Console and apps that connect to a Teams Help Desk Room Bot. Our current requirement is to provide a method to report equipment issues which affect Room Availability.
We can consider creating the Bot internally, but need MS to provide integration points into Teams Console and Teams Room objects in apps.
Idea: Provide Conference Room support through a Teams Channel with a Bot.
