Ability to share powerpoint with video and sound

when sharing "powerpoint" or browsing to the ppt file, embedded video does NOT record in the teams meeting.
what's the point of that?

It works with share the desktop but we would like to hear the sound when we use the powerpoint share functionnality in Teams.

I'm understanding this as an issue with sharing a powerpoint directly in Teams (from the powerpoint section), which is also where I experience problems.
I have tried with a couple of different videos. It is the same for all, they just show up as a black box in the slide. First click in the slide nothing happens and second clicks sends me to the next slide.
Yes, I could just share my desktop with "system audio" on, but often this is quite choppy in the picture and not perfectly in sync. -

Did you share your desktop or select the presentation from the PowerPoint section? If you share from the PowerPoint section the sounds will be heard by everyone. If you share your desktop from Windows there is a checkbox to "Include system audio".
