Calendar invites for attendees for Live Events
We would like there to be a way for attendees to sign up for live events using teams so that they can automatically get a calendar invite with the event link included. At the moment we have to use a separate form and then send out the link in an email manually before the event. This means that we have to send out multiple invites and there can be a delay between signing up and attendees receiving the link.

Currently we email staff with details (eg to whole company) and then get them to sign up via EventBrite. We then export the sign up list and copy and paste them into a "standard" outlook meeting request so we can get the event into peoples calendars... not ideal!
I have tried a workaround using Forms & PowerAutomate but it doesn't work well (eg you can add subscribers to the meeting but then everyone already signed up gets email updates)
A "self subscribe" option which adds you to the attendee list and creates/sends you a meeting request would be ideal. Eg - if you click on the live event meeting link and the event has not started yet - add a "set a reminder" option which then emails you a meeting invite with the link to the meeting. An enhancement on this would be a basic "Event Holding Webpage" where you could add details and a picture and have the "sign me up" option.

Dare I say - it should be just like webex?! Where it sends out calendar invites for attendees and presenters separately. It would really make the whole process so much easier to organise.

I totally agree on this one...I'm running regular webinars and I would love a simple way to send people a calendar invite that they can download...other webinars I join send an .ics and a google file...this would be really professional.

What we need is to not have to copy some attendee link and create a whole sperate invite. Create a Live Event and send the presenter/producers one invite with their link and send attendees and invite with thier attendee link.
